Finished Strong

Yesterday was the last day of my 11 day cleanse journey!
I am so proud of myself that I was able to do it and stick to the program and not cheat (okay maybe once or twice a little....) BUT I couldn't be happier with my results.

I have better sleep, lost 5 pounds, have better workouts, and I just feel extremely better than I did before I started using Isagenix products.

My lovely mother is going to be starting for 30 day cleansing program sometime this week and I cannot wait to help her through it and see the amazing results she will have!
This really works and now I can say that from personal experience.

Cleanse Days 9 and 10

Yesterday was Day 9 of my cleanse and I have been feeling wonderful! I had a busy day from working, working out, doing homework, and then Vince and I went down to the Marriott to meet his family for dinner. It was a full but great day!

Today is Day 10 and it is a "cleanse" day. To find out the different between a "shake" and "cleanse" day. Please click on the link here to read about it in a previous post.
I had 2 massages this morning and am going to have a picnic at the park with my friends to celebrate St. Patty's Day! I have been sleeping so great every night, lost 3lbs, and a little over an inch off my waist, and weight loss wasn't even one of my main goals. It's extremely exciting to me that I am losing unnecessary fat and gaining lean muscle. I can definitely tell a difference already and it has only been 10 days!
I couldn't be happier or feel healthier.

Today and tomorrow will both be "cleanse" days, and after that I will have completely my 11 day journey successfully! It has gone by so fast but I can't wait to keep on trucking with my Isagenix business because I am officially a consultant now! I couldn't be more excited about the opportunities Isagenix has given me, and will continue to give.

If you are interested in cleansing please email me at samanthafortner@gmail.com for your free no-obligation consultation today!

Isagenix is an international company and is available in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Puerto Rico.

Here is a great video that explains why you need to cleanse:

DAY 8

Today I didn't wake up until about 10:30 because I didn't go to bed until about 2:30am last night! I woke up and made my IsaLean shake for breakfast and then did some laundry. Then my mom and I went on a 2 mile run! For me, this is such an achievement because I haven't done 2 miles straight since about Sophomore or Junior year of high school! And it was a lot easier than I was expecting it to be. I truly believe that Isagenix is helping create a healthy happier Samantha! I am so blessed to have been given this opportunity and I am going to take completely advantage of it. My mom signed up last night to do the 30 Day Cleansing System!! I am extremely excited for her and to help coach her and meet her goals. Morgan is also going to be ordering her cleansing system probably tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited for her.

I plan on doing more laundry today because I have been slacking big time, cleaning my room, and making a healthy snack to bring over to my best friend Rachel's house tonight. My group of friends and I are getting together to hang out there and spend some time catching up since we all are split apart by college. I've missed them all and can't wait to see their beautiful faces!

I have never felt better in my entire life, and I know it is only going to get better from here.
You can visit my website samanthafortner.isagenix.com to start your life changing journey today! Please feel free to email me for any further questions you may have. samanthafortner@gmail.com

I look forward to hearing from you!

I took this picture the other day and love it, just wanted to share it with you all!

Cleansing Day 6 & 7

Day 6

My day 6 was a lovely but busy day, hence why I had to merge day 6 and 7 together in one post! I slept until 11:30 in the morning.... I had plans I was going to get done but I guess my body had other plans! I made my "breakfast" shake and showered very quickly and got ready to go to the movies with my mom and brother. We saw "John Carter". I was a little iffy in the beginning about how the movie would pan out, but it actually surprised me and ended up being a good movie! I had a turkey burger for lunch along with an arrangement of fruit, so yummy! I went for a bike ride then got ready and went to a meeting at Cari- Lee's (my Isagenix coach) house to bring some friends and family to hear more about Isagenix and how wonderful it is. The meeting was a total success and my friend Morgan @ Big Grins Make Laugh Lines is going to be ordering a 9 day program like I am doing in the next couple days! It was a relaxed and fun way to spend the evening.

After the meeting I went to my best friend Rachel's house for a sleepover! She is back in town on Spring Break and I want to spend as much time with her as I can, and sleepovers never get old with best friends. I can't wait to spend some quality time with her, and we always have the best talks. We have been best friends for our whole lives and I know we will be friends forever, no doubt. I am extremely blessed to have so many incredible people in my life. Thank you LORD for everything you have given me.

DAY 7

I made my breakfast shake a Rachel's house this morning and then we went for a wonderful hike! It was tough... but I love the feeling after a good hike or workout- it's the best. We then went back to her house to chat and have a healthy snack for lunch. Rachel is an INCREDIBLE cook. She has such a gift with food it's unbelievable. We had pita bread with homemade humus (she made), kalamata olives, basil, and tomatos on top, with a seaweed salad. My plans for the rest of the day are to do some much needed laundry, some homework (yeah... right), and hang out with my family tonight to celebrate my dad's birthday! I just love celebrating things :)

I am feeling fantastic so far and can't wait to keep my cleansing journey going. I already ordered my maintenance program for when Day 11 is over,  I cannot wait!
I hope you have a lovely day today and try to make healthy choices throughout it.

DAY 5

Today I woke up feeling great! I made my IsaLean shake for breakfast and let me tell you... it tasted like Heaven! I missed those darn shakes after 2 days. I then watched Live with Kelly and just relaxed and got ready for the day. I am starting to notice slightly leaner muscle!! The only area I really carried any noticeable fat in would have to be the inner thigh area, and it is feeling more trim and tight! I weighed myself this morning and I weighed exactly 100lbs!! I know I was about 102 before I started my Isagenix journey.

Here is a link by the way if you want to learn more about the 9 Day Cleansing System and all the other amazing products Isagenix offers.
 Isagenix

Once I finished getting ready, Vince and I went out for the day. He had to get his 3000 mile check up on his car at the Ford dealership and then we went to Costco to pick out glasses for him!!! I knew this day would be here soon enough... We then had a lovely lunch at Picasso's. If you have not been to that restaurant (or sadly don't have one in your area) it's wonderful because they offer organic and gluten free choices!

After our little outing we went back to his house and worked out- mostly weights and resistance. I then made my shake for dinner and we finished the night off by watching the finale of The Bachelor! So many people are upset that Ben picked Courtney, but I think they are kind of good for each other. They are both weird and quirky and if they're happy that's all that matters! It makes me so sad how the media and public have to be so cruel. All I know is that I am happy to not be in their shoes, and am blessed to live the life I live.

I hope you have a lovely day today!! Don't forget to check back in and see what Day 6 brings along!
I have a feeling it will be a good one...

Day 4 (Clarity)

Today was a rough day... not gonna lie. I woke up this morning and was all ready for church (on time I may add) at least I thought, and then I realized before walking out the door that my iPhone was set an hour ahead instead of at the "real" time. So I ended up going to Sunday school before church and enjoyed talking with the lovely Morgan and a wonderful woman whom I have always known as "Aunt Linda". Even though she is not my aunt, she has been an incredible woman to grow up with and learn from. Ironically my actual aunt in named Linda as well... a fun and completely pointless fact.

Any-who! Day 4- was rough. I woke up this morning feeling fantastic, but as the day went on I started to get grumpy because hey lets face it... not eating for 2 days=challenging. I never realized how much of my life revolves around food! This whole cleansing process has been a true eye opener and I am blessed to have been able to take part in it. The start of my spiral down hill was after church, my family usually always goes out to lunch. To add to it, my brother and his girlfriend are in town because they are on Spring Break as well, and I couldn't bare going to lunch and watching them all eat, it would be much too difficult for me. I stayed strong except for 2 apple slices... still feel guilty, but my lovely coach assured me that I would be just fine! My boyfriend Vince and I went to try and win the lottery for the musical Wicked. Whoever gets their name drawn wins 2 front row seats for $25 each!!!  If you have seen Wicked or even heard the music, you know that this is an incredible deal and well worth the time and money to see it. (I've already seen it twice of the years). Vince has not and I wanted to experience it in all it's glory with him. However, it wasn't meant to be, and sadly neither of our names were drawn. I then spiraled more because all I wanted to do was go out to dinner with him if we couldn't at least see the show. BUT I did not and do not want to cheat on my cleanse because if I did I know I would regret it, and the past 4 days will have basically gone to waste.

Vince has been extremely supportive of me and this journey, I couldn't have a better man in my life. He listened to my crying about how frustrated I was because I couldn't eat but I didn't want to cheat and blah blah blah...  I then realized how silly it was to be getting so upset over food! This cleanse has been a lot harder than I thought it was going to be, except I know it will be well worth it. Hard work does pay off. I just have to keep reminding (and being reminded) of the good and not only focusing on the bad and hard times that are in the moment. I get to go back to shake days tomorrow and  enjoy a wonderful meal! Once I reminded myself of that, I became calm and collected.

I have to remember why I am cleansing and why it is so important to me. I want to be the healthiest I can possibly be. Our bodies our temples of God and I want to start treating mine like one, first of all by what I am putting into it.Health determines a lot, where we can go, what we can do, and etc. If our health is not the best it can be and we can do something to make it better, why not? We owe it to ourselves and most importantly to God to live the healthiest life, so we can be available for what He so deeply desires for us. I know perfect health is not achievable in this life and things happen outside of our control, but let's all strive to be the best we can be. I know at least I am going to keep trying for my God, my loved ones, and my future.

I believe this cleanse is not only cleansing my whole physical body, but has helped cleanse my mind as well. And guess what? I still have 7 days to go! Oh what those 7 days will bring... I can't wait to find out.

1 Corinthians 6:19 NIV
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own"

Day 3 of Isagenix

Today is my 3rd day on my Isagenix journey and I'm feeling great! Yesterday morning I woke up with a sore throat and knew that was the early signs of a cold firing up. However! After drinking my shakes yesterday and my cleansing drinks today, I'm feeling pretty wonderful. Today was my first "cleanse" day. Meaning, I didn't have any food or shakes except for some specific Isagenix snacks in between drinks. What I drank today and will drink tomorrow as well is called, "Cleanse for Life". It is going to focus on really getting all the bad toxins out!

So far the main thing I've noticed is better sleep since I started using Isagenix products. I haven't woken up once in the night, and I just sleep good and sleep hard! I am feeling pretty fantastic by the end of today. I thought I would feel faint from not having food, but Isagenix does not "starve" the body like other cleansing systems may do. It brings in all the nutrients the body needs and takes the bad toxins out. I never thought I would feel this good after a whole day of not eating. Now I'm not nervous for tomorrow, I am more excited to see how I feel after another full "cleanse" day.

With all the powders, you can either drink them hot or cold. So far I have done all cold with both powders (IsaLean and Cleanse for Life), except tonight for the first time I tried drinking my "Cleanse for Life" hot like tea. I actually found it much more soothing and enjoyable in that form!

So I forgot to weight myself at the very beginning of my journey but tomorrow morning I will! I guess I didn't really feel the need to since I'm not cleansing for weight loss. I am cleansing to clean my body and release any excess fat I have and also to improve energy, sleep, lean muscle, and decrease stress. It's important to remember that if a person is skinny, does not mean that they have a low percentage of body fat. Their excess fat could be stored in brain tissue, breast tissue, and vital organs. There is such a thing as a skinny fat person people!

It has been very difficult not to cheat and just eat. Especially today, since food was off the table completely. I was hanging out with some of my best buddies tonight and they all made pot stickers and they smelled so yummy, but I strongly sat there trying to enjoy every bite of my IsaDelight snack. I am determined not to cheat, not even once. I always find myself cheating or finding excuses not to finish or do things and I'm done with those excuses! I want to do something and know I did it to the best of my ability.

I'm extremely blessed to have been introduced to Isagenix through the lovely woman, Cari-Lee. You can read her blog and I highly suggest reading her bio as well here.

I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend! I know I will, and this week is Spring Break for me, can I get an AMEN?!

Love Always,

Samantha, LMT
